~ 15.1% of the 7535 responded students agreed that sex is a part of dating. The portion in males (23.3%) who agreed the above statement is higher than that in females (11.4%) (p<.0001)

~ 89.0% of the responded 1394 respondents would refuse the request of sexual intercourse of the partners; only 1% of them would accept it.

~ More than half (51%) of the 5963 responded students accepted their current partner to have sex with others before while 47%of them did not mind their future spouse to have premarital sex before.

~ 6.5% of the 7355 responded students reported that they had sexual experience before. The portion in males (8.1%) who reported to have sexual experience before is higher than that in female (4.3%) (p<.001). Over 97% of them used contraceptives when having sex.

~ Over 40% of the 1248 responded students would seek help from friends or classmates when they encountered relationship and dating problems, around 30% of them would choose social worker (32.5%) and family members (31%).

~ Nearly half (49.3) of the 1184 responded students never talk about sex and romantic relationships with their parents. Most students learned about sex in school (70.4%), followed by friends or classmates (32%) and Internet (24.6%).

~ Educators should encourage teenagers to communicate with their own partners early and often to understand the difference in value and attitudes towards sex.

~ Society should explore more routes for adolescents to learn correct and appropriate values on sexuality instead of relying solely on sexual education from schools.
