主要數字、結果撮要 | ~ 52.3%of the non stepchild respondents and 45.8% of teacher respondents considered divorce and remarriage of their parents totally unacceptable or unacceptable and they hoped that their families of origin had remained intact. ~ 5.2%and 3.8% of non-stepchildren and teachers did not or would not offer help to stepchild students from stepfamilies and 38.0% of non stepchildren and 38.3% of teachers preferred to pretend not to know that they were from stepfamilies respectively, they indicate the number of students and teachers had difficulty in handling relationship if they knew their fellow students were stepchildren. ~ 51.1% and 67.4% of stepchild respondent didn’t let fellow students and teachers know their stepfamily member status. ~ 21.1% of stepchild respondents got no help from school. ~ 39.1% of teacher respondents considered they had no knowledge of students from stepchildren. |
有關建議 | ~ Teachers should be equipped with the knowledge and skills from teacher training institutes or in-service training programmes. ~ The curriculum in secondary schools should include teaching and discussion materials to facilitate the understanding of students with regard to stepfamilies ~ School principals should review existing school policies and practices with a view to making them more responsive to families which are not predominant, such as stepfamilies. |
