~ Around 20%of the respondents reported dissatisfaction with the local people. About 35%of them rated their relationship with Hong Kong peers as “fair only” and nearly 10% rated it as “bad” or “very bad” (reasons: racism and lack of mutual understanding).

~ Around 45%of the respondents would choose to live in their home country rather than in Hong Kong, whereas only about 30%would choose Hong Kong.

~ Most of the respondents expressed some to great satisfaction with their living environment in Hong Kong and various domains like family, school, and resources available.

~ South Asian youth have better subjective well-being than Hong Kong student have. For example, life satisfaction of SA mean is 4.75 and of HK norm are 4.15 (p<0.01).

~ Enhance educational and career opportunities.
