主要數字、結果撮要 | ~61 respondents had attempt to commit suicide in past 12 months, and 22 of them sought help. ~77% of respondents believe suicide as a relief, and 75.8% of respondents agree people have right to end their life. ~Academic pressure (82.5%) and feeling lost about the future (50.4%) contribute the most to the respondent’s stress. Most respondents (74.1%) regard hopelessness as the reasons for suicide. ~Respondents agree using social media as a way of encouragement (65.4%), venting of emotion (60.1%) instead of attracting attention from others (16.7%). |
有關建議 | ~Promoting “I here you” culture to suicidality in school and society, including Peer-to-peer learning and support and breaking the link between psychological distress and suicide. ~Provide career development for all youths and not just elite students, such as inclusive internships. ~Invite KOL to promote mental health and online platforms seeking help for suicide. |
